So how could a game like Titanfall, Dead Rising/etc be viewed in a positive light when this game

Let's talk factual facts:
Game looks hotter than both Bloodborne and especially The Order 1866 but I don't like those Souls games regardless.
Max Payne didn't father uncharted, in typically naughty dog fashion they implemented aspects from established and well liked games and polished them in this case Gears of Wars cover mechanic and Tomb Raiders exploration.
That being said it really doesn't have anything to do with this thread or this game.

1. Yes I would say Max Payne 3 is very different from Max Payne 1. Max Payne 1 is not a cover based game and neither is Max Payne 3. This is the first time I have ever seen anyone even try to make that argument.

2. No one in their right mind would consider Uncharted a cinematic shooter because it's not. Uncharted is a cinematic action adventure game.

3. "Cinematic" is vague as hell.

1. You don't need a dedicated cover button for cover to be an important part of a game. And your being dishonest if you claim max payne 3 isn't a continuation of the gameplay style in max payne one.

2. shyts not an adventure game. You shoot enemies more than anything else, there's nothing to even explore in the games. You kill just as many if not more people than max payne. Uncharted 3 and max payne 3 were compared for their similar playstyles. Max payne one set the groundwork for that playstyle and how the story is presented.

3. We all know what a cinematic game is. Y'all just want to a t stupid cause y'all don't want to admit that max payne created that style of game.

I don have time to game like I use to so when I play a game I typically try to beat most of it in one sitting. I think I played mass effect 2 for like 10 hours straight ... i know when I was little I played Mario 3 for LIke 12 hours+

Me getting banned several times on GAF means i respect rules?? I guess that makes sense. I respect rules so much that I got banned at least 5 times because I respect the rules so much. The whole back and forth with me and meach and based wasn't even about this game, it was about an inaccuracy and meach didn't want to give up.
