I'm confused just reading the responses in this thread. I don't think my brain can grasp all this information.

Thats the whole thing about quantum computing. It takes away duality. Everything was computed before with 1 and 0 with quantum is based of photons etcl.. Where a 1 or 0 can exist at the same time I also believe it something like 32 phases of light particles that can exist instead of just a 1 or 0 as well. With quantum entanglement an electron can be split and put on the other side of the universe and if one spins clock wise the other with instantly spin counter clock wise instantly. So the message is sent at faster then the speed of light.

So will I be able to time travel into the past and shyt?

Yes its all about processing information. The human brain is unmatched as a Processor. The human brain can "Process 6 trillions transactions per second" that is like 6 tera bytes of info per second. Once a computer can achieve processing that information whoa.

Imagine a machine that can solve math problems we have been looking to solve since the beginning of time.

You could use computer simulate the big bang. Create its own universe/matrix.

Anyways, speaking of Quantum Computing and Time travel, there is an EXCELLENT book by Micheal Criton that i'm reading right now called "TimeLine". Its an excellent story and I highly recommend it.
