I like the tape. Its exactly what I imagined a Quavo X Flame joint would sound. Neither amazing nor trash. Oddest thing to me was the How You Feel beat. Listen to a lot of Lofi, Vaporwave mix and I already associate that sound to a different feel.

Kid it was a joke, but really I don’t know if 36 chambers or Illmatic would sound better if they sounded like a Ariana Grande album. You faux engineers seem to only know about clarity too, as if that’s the only dimensions to mixing.

Again, would Illmatic and 36 Chambers sound as good if they didn’t have that deliberate dirty sound? Is hazy reverb heavy dream pop albums wackly mixed? I know that’s what the faux engineers would say. They don’t understand that people might want to achieve a certain sound and that the objective isn’t always to make shyt sound like a billion dollar pop album. A good example is weekends trilogy, first mixtapes versions are by many preferred to the “well mixed” commercialized version.

What has anything got to do with being dumb? That’s just your inferiority complex. I just find it funny when people talk as much about the so-called mixing as the actual music.
