How are people even defending this? The most famous line off the last album was "running thru the 6 w/my woes" and he didn't write it.

How bout if Big didn't write, "It was all a dream..."?
Hov didn't write, "Allow me to reintroduce myself..."?
Nas didn't write "I never sleep, cuz sleep is the cousin of death"?

we'e in a different era breh. This is where I finally see the age gap is prevalent.

New fans don't care about anything but hearing the song. It could be 10 ppl writing a Drake diss record to whomever and Drake fans would still act as if he wrote it.

So first drake stans were praising his hook writing ability, but when it comes out that he's got someone writing them they switch up to "it's just a hook":patrice:

You know what it is. Half of these dudes in every thread posting shyt that makes absolutely no sense are on his e-street team. They're getting paid to do this. I refuse to believe actual grown men are sitting in every Drake thread posting 150-200x to defend him, of their own free will.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I'll be honest, I completely ignored the reference tracks. So what exactly do these mean?

Was it recorded before Drake got in the booth? Explain.

It means somebody else raps for Drake, he lays down the pattern, some lyrics & rhyme scheme for Drake to follow, then the "best rapper in the game" gets in the booth and copies what he does and makes some changes here and there.

Drake is basically an editor like someone said, and these fukk nikkas on here keep trying to say other rappers have ghostwriters, when nobody who is the best in the game gets reference tracks made for them.

No fans would act as if its better because thats what matter.

What is honorable about only Meek rapping that trash we just heard?

QM was credited on all these tracks, so at the very least, we know Drake gives credit where it's due...

Drake got enough work where he's the only one credited for me to doubt his pen game tho...

son is a hitmaker...
