I hate y'all opinion on this!
Drake will never be the best rapper alive or anything he is just a good song maker. But the key fact in all of this is that Drake doesn't even consider himself a rapper he considers himself a "singing nikka" so in the grand scheme of things who cares if his raps have been ghost written before

Pretty much. Ain't that where the whole, "Everything sounding like Drake featuring Drake" came from. Dude called himself the best lyricist and all that other shyt. Drake is still good and a beast of an entertainer, but he just ain't all-time great with this over his head.Idk if yall are trolling but drake always talks about being the best and killing his peers on their own songs and how they need him.
I still think Drake sweeps this under the rug man. And I said that only the true hip hop fans would be the only ones who cares. The general public already got drake winning off of charged up.That's not what I heard on the show![]()
What article?Kanye lasted because he is different, not just because he collaborated with different people. Most artists did that because they had to, the labels made them do it to follow the new trends. People keep thinking its about the artist, but its not, its the labels. Kanye just did good from his first three albums, and was able to have freedom, he earned it. Without the label backing him, he would have flopped. I was part of that world, I saw for myself how powerful the labels are. It killed my love for a minute because I saw how a lot of the shyt was a lie. The magazines, the TV shows, they all work together to give this image of the music game. It was sad to see people really believe their talent was going to make them blow. I remember being at a promotions department, and seeing a certain group hoping to get their shyt done by the company. When the call was done, the workers was deciding if they were going to do shyt for the group based on if they liked the song, even though they were going to get paid.
Another group had all this promotional stuff made, and I guess someone didn't like them, and all of that shyt just sat to the side. That group didn't last two months. They had talent, and was making some noise in NYC. I seen them do the same thing to a rapper from Houston. I remember when Wendy Williams was saying how rappers and singers turn gay to get their shyt pushed majorly, and I thought she was talking for ratings, but I saw it was some truth to what she was saying. If these new kids read that gay rapper article, they would lose their minds!
We love music, and making it, but that changes once you hit a certain level. Only a few can play both sides without getting caught up. This is what nas was going through before he got into his shyt with jay. Be part of the music BUSINESS, which is a bunch of games, or just be an artist. He eventually learned to do both, but he is rare. Same for Jay.
all the praise yall given QM over the last few months
Kinda dissapointing to see some posters switching up they stance now
Fatherless stans gone dikkride so

Let's throw Jay Z under the bus too while we're at it.I've been saying it's about cadence and melody since the first reference dropped.
Wasnt Drake supposed to stand for Do Right And Kill Everything?Idk if yall are trolling but drake always talks about being the best and killing his peers on their own songs and how they need him.
