Song sounds ghost written too, especially that cocaine coupe shyt
All that 'all me' 'nobody did shyt for me' shyt has been dude overcompensating all this time
it def won't be a rapper this big. that damage control was brilliant. This was a fluke, labels will make sure this NEVER happens again.
@ Drake sampling this Wayne interview when it's dissing HIM.
All that 'all me' 'nobody did for me' shyt is pure compensating.
Lol nobody is in denial about anything. He's clearly on the payroll since he stated that Drake brought him along on the album. Nobody knows if QM recorded those tracks after Drake did or not. You weren't there and neither was I. You got all these "facts" from not being in the studio with them. 99% of the rappers have writers/cowriters on their album. Any input used on an artists track is credited on the album
YupSorry, that one. The one with the Lou Williams line right?
Wait whose jimmy primeNah, Drake took the 6 from Jimmy Prime. Jimmy Prime is the one who started calling Toronto the 6 originally. Drake gave credit when he first started saying it then just started using it himself

I'm done brehs
You don't understand, I get that, but a verse? Nah.Nah, I'm talking about someone getting in the booth recording something. And then the actual artist going in behind them and doing what was laid down. I've been in countless sessions where this has been done. It's not always planned, but the process is all the same. You might not have a hook in place, or a bridge. But someone else might have something they think may work for you. So they go in. You follow and work with whatever they gave you. This is everyday shyt in music, period. Not just Hip Hop. But the point is, everything isn't always one MC, one producer. We'd love for it to be that way, but a lot of music gets made by several people either throwing ideas around, or building tracks separately and then working together to piece them together as a whole. For anyone in music, this is common knowledge.
I get why it's not as organic as Primo and Guru working on something, but it's just the reality for how a lot of records have been made forever in Hip Hop, and other genres.
It's common sense. The "these tracks were recorded after" has been the worst excuse on Drake's side yet
Seriously? But I'm still puzzled as why meek even ratted him out tho. Like, was he that mad about him not tweeting your album? He had to have known how damaging this shyt could be. That's why I can't ride with meek on this. That shyt wasn't coo at all.
He is going to pay for what he did. Drake is a money maker, and meek is messing shyt up. Watch his sales all of a sudden drop by his next release. They are going to get the Charlemagne's, the complex magazines, the mtvs, to talk bad about meek and not play his shyt. The fans will think they dont like meek because of the music, but its the label manipulation. I seen this shyt before, except it was more low key. With meek, its going to hurt him publicly.
They will still try to push Drake, but he will fall off because people won't be able to take him serious when he raps about certain things, so the label is going to get him to make more songs for women since they could care less. BUT, women don't stay loyal to rappers, and drake will eventually be forgotten. I told people on this site, rappers only get 5-7 years, if you go longer then that, you are going to be doing this for years to come. Drake could have made it if it wasn't for this info.
