:ohhh: Can y'all explain the significance of using a reference track for a feature over your own song?
Pretty much the reference will show you how to flow the flow on the track and what type of cadence to use to keep on the track and how the lyrics should go.

Pretty much Quentin Miller wrote part of Drake's songs on the tracks that were dropped, then recorded himself doing them and replayed back to Drake so Drake could hear how it's supposed to sound and flow like.

It's like the Hooked on Phonics or Rosetta Stone of rappin'.
