You don't need to be an authentic artist to have fans tbf, just need to have solid marketing on your core values as an artist and music your audience can connect to emotionally.

It's a shame that it opens the floodgates for more people to use ghostwriters and then claim they are the best rappers in the game but it is what it is, it's a business at the end of the day I guess. If I said I haven't told a lie to make a dollar I would be lying.
