I like the Elliot Hulse Deadlift videos
he has this light pipe rod that goes along the thoracic spune to help practice form.

Also Alan Thrall is good and some other guys on the Youtube Deadlift algorithm.

I've actually used that when training newbs with a PVC warm-up bar. :whoo:

before you start jumping into the deep end with deadlifts/weighted squats

you need to build up your glutes/lower back muscles, basically the posterior chain on a foundational level before you start heavy deadlifts -- Do some other exercises that less intense then work your way,

most people have hip tighteness, lower back pain, knee pains trying to jump in cold

most people starting out either round their back or subconciously shift the load to their knees due to underdevloped areas from being sedentary

but what do I know

the deepend? Squats, Deadlifts, Bench Press, overhead press should be the first lifts anyone does. These are the basic lifts.

You're not wrong but OP is talking 45-95 lbs max, nobody said anything about heavy pulls. :skip:

^This. Once you get these lifts down everything will follow...except Oly lifts. Oly lifting is different.
