Question About Bioshock Series

For the brehs who have played it am I missing anything if I just skip right to Bioshock Infinite ?

Honestly, I've never been interested in the series until now.

Nah infinite is its own story but im sure they probably have little references to the first two games... im not sure I still havent copped yet.

Honestly, I've never been interested in the series until now.

Its fine. Infinite is a stand alone story which is why its called infinite instead of bioshock 3 since its not part of the original canon.

There are Easter eggs and story line arcs that come from the first two. At the very least play the first one. It's a dam good game even now. You can get by playing Infinite without playing the first, but some things might go over your head.

Bioshock Infinite is sitting on the table now I have to finish Skyrim first

i haven't played the first 2 and i just started infinite.

a few hours in, and i'm enjoying myself.

i'm sure i'm missing references and shyt like that.. but it doesn't feel like it.

infinite is next up on deck for me. i only played one .

i'm playing killzone 2 atm. just finished last of us, but kz2 has rotted on my shelf for 4 yrs
