I've used both. One asked for the state (was sending the money to) and gave a reference number which I gave them and they needed an ID to pick it up.
The other wanted a name, and the person had to take the reference number, their ID and know how much it was for. I did them both online to two different people in different states. RE: the reference number: When you do the order they say the number will be ready in 10 minutes, then you go check and give them the number. It was about $15-17 to send unless you do it through your bank (instead of the money being ready right then it's a 3 day wait) then it's like $5.
