Question About Oak Hill Academy...

If he's a freshman in High School playing basketball and he doesn't know how to get into Oak Hill, then he's not good enough to play at oak Hill

My little cousin is a HS freshman, and he's pretty nice at basketball. Dude told me he wants to play for Oak Hill Academy, and asked me did I know how he could do that.

What does it really take to play for Oak Hill Academically?

Academically? Not much. Many of the players on the team are taking remedial classes at the school to boost their GPA for college eligibility. Kids that go to the school for academics aren't on the team. Oak Hill is a school that recruits.

I was trying to be realistic with him, without being negative. The competition is so fukking stuff for so few spots. You don't realize how many dudes can hoop until someone you're close to is climbing through the ranks, traveling, and trying to get one of those few coveted spots at or near the top.
