Question about snitching for you super-duper thugs.

If I did a crime, I'm doing my bid regardless of the time. I'm not snitching on a co-de or even somebody I know on a unrelated case to lower my sentence.

Let the DA hit you with 30-to-life or you cooperate and you get 3 years plus probation.

this nikka from my old hood caught a murder charge but it was knocked down to manslaughter 2 yrs ago...while on probation

I don't see why not. Never understood the premise in the first place, but then I'm not a criminal. Honor among thieves? Methinks not.

I know more then a few, but one dude I went to high school with, banger from a very active hood out here, did a drive by, or was in the car, killed two little kids I think, or one, and then the target. Facing a double murder charge, he told on the co defendant. I think he did a few years, but he's out now, and people still fukk with him. I wouldn't fukk with him anyway, but definitely not after that.

I know a dude that just came home on a really sketchy plea deal, if I see him, which I don't want to, I'll just say 'show me the paper work', if he doesn't want to...that's all I need to know.

The premise of not snitching is integrity...don't talk, you talked all that gangster shyt when you were out there...and now you want a deal? You are ruining someone elses life because you got caught, and can't handle it. You knew the stakes getting in, nothing is promised and no one put a gun to your head.

That's the thing with federal sentencing guidelines, it's locked in, you cannot get around it without cooperation or some T.I shyt, it's either do the 10 or cooperate for 8 or 5. I know a dude who was hit with a 45 count indictment, just trafficking weed and grow houses on a very large scale, and he is doing 5 years. He was publicly sentenced to 8. But, that's way below any of the minimums for the charges he pled guilty to. You know he cooperated. And not just cooperated, but probably went to work for the feds, setting up other deals and shyt like that.

Federal sentencing guidelines are what broke the Mafia back in the 80's, along with the RICO. Get 20 years for almost nothing, or talk. I wouldn't talk, period. Now, people will come up with these scenarios where someone will kill a family member, etc etc, whatever, but without the extra contrivances, I won't. You either live and die with it, or you shouldn't even play around.

That's what's funny to me about "no snitching".

He's my lil brother. I've looked out for him my whole life. It would suck, but I'd have a better chance of surviving prison than he would so yea I'd have to just take it for the team.
