Question about the Batman/Robin thing.

I was confused about the Robin thing when I watched the movie "Under The Red Hood". What a twist.



I didn't read any comics but just cartoon.

Who was the first Robin? and how many guys have played "Robin"?

Stephanie Brown, Tim Drake's girlfriend and the costumed adventurer previously known as the Spoiler, volunteered for the role of Robin upon Tim's resignation. Batman fired the Girl Wonder for not obeying his orders to the letter on two separate occasions. Stephanie then stole one of Batman's incomplete plans to control Gotham crime and executed it. In order to prove her worthiness, Brown inadvertently set off a gang war on the streets of Gotham. While trying to help end the war, Brown was captured and tortured by the lunatic crime boss Black Mask. She managed to escape but died shortly after due to the severity of her injuries. All right. In that movie Under The Red Hood so.....if D!ck Grayson was the first Robin so why in that movie is telling us that Jason Todd was the first Robin when Batman having flashback and even D!ck Grayson was so amazing about Jason's talent?

So who is Nightwing in that movie? and they having (Frank) Red Hood looks so much older than (D!ck) Nightwing, I"m assuming he's a teenager at the time.

Well, since u asked about the comics;

dikk Grayson gets older, gets tired of being the little homie and branches on his own (Bludhaven)

Jason Todd is a kid and Bruce takes him under his wing and he becomes Robin

They do work together, too

dikk becomes Batman after Final Crisis (a long epic that ends with Batman [Bruce] knocked back in time)

In the movie, that's dikk (Damien comes in the picture shortly before Final Crisis [which wrapped up 2 yrs ago])

Age wise (oldest) dikk, Jason, Tim then Damien

They don't seem to be anymore than 5 yrs apart, with exception of Damien

By the time the other 3 are men, Damien is still a little kid

dikk became Nightwing when him and Batman had a falling out. He was tired of living in Batman shadow more or less. Then a lil while after that Jason becomes Robin, but he gets killed in the line of duty when Joker beats him to death with a crowbar. Then a few years after that, Tim Drake figures out who Bats is and in exchange for keeping quiet, he becomes the new Robin.

Some time after that, Ras Al Ghul brings Jason back to life by putting him in a Lazarus Pit (the shyt he uses to keep coming back to life) but using it makes you insane so Jason went nuts for a lil bit (this is Under the Red Hood) tried to kill Nightwing and Robin. Jason is a little bit stable now but he doesnt really fukk with the Bat Family because if you operate in Gotham, Bats is the boss and Jason believes that Batman enables the Joker to keep doing things (like murdering him) by not murking Joker once and for all. Bats almost did it but it would break the code so Jason refuses to come home.

Damian is Bruce and Talia Al Ghuls son. He's the current Robin (Tim left too...) but Bruce doesnt want him to be Robin because Talia put a hit on him and it makes it hard to operate when the bad guys want your son dead 24/7

Nightwing was Batman for a while when Bruce was dead/missing. During this time Damien became Robin but that's what makes it hard for Bruce and Damien to operate as a team because while Grayson knows what it was like to be Batmans sidekick and gave him leeway, Bruce has no tolerance for the talking back and headstrong shyt.

If Jason looked older in the movie to you, that's just pure coincidence. The movie also starts with Jason being killed by Joker. dikk was already Nightwing at that point.

Damian was programmed to be the ulimate killer from birth to be used to kill Bruce. He fought against it and when he found out what she did, he left his mother to go live with Bruce and be Robin.
