No, we're not :cape: for NK, we are trying to explain to you why North Koreans would. :snoop:

Breh, I've seen so many documentaries on NK. Listened to multiple interviews of NK defectors. Read thier transcripts, etc.

Fear along wit da combination of lack of resources to escape and just flat out brainwashin got millions of dem mufukkas trapped. Vast majority, if not all, against thier own will.

I know what time it is wit alladat shyt.

Dats not why I made those response posts.

So NK is actually some secluded utopia da rest of da world's got all wrong? All da footage, UN reports, refugee testimony, etc are all.....fraudulent?:ohhh:

Citizens can't eam leave da fukkin country without state permission. You got people riskin thier lives and da lives of thier families trynna escape dat mufukka on a daily basis. Famines, brainwashin,. totalitarian rule... and you're really gon question mah criticisms of such place?

You surrus? :dwillhuh:

Who called it a utopia? you're using extremes here. You watch too much tv and asking dissidents about the country is like asking african americans what they think about America. you know what the response will be.

For like the 5th time, no one is saying its sprinkles and cookies, in fact, being poor in this place is hell, but the question was, why don't the OLYMPIC ATHLETES run. I mentioned that compared to poor north koreans, they are living a middle class life in PY (where rich and middle class koreans live) and aren't having that prison life you speak of. Do you think govt officials are starving? do you think they want to leave? you do realize that if you're on the team, you're essentially apart of the govt. You're not starving, you're getting your ration and free apartment. Pay attention to what I'm saying and stop spewing media rhetoric for a second. A poor black american has a different experience in america than a middle class white boy from the burbs, ask each from each class what they think and their perspectives will be different about their country, the same applies to NK not just what your media is telling you.

Earlier I said I had some friends that visited NK.

I hit up one of my boys and he said he met a guy who used to take trips out there and he had much better pictures because he actually brought a proper DSLR. Here's his photo series in NK. Amazing shyt, not what you'd expect.
Road to North Korea - Photography - M1key - Michal Huniewicz

Ostensibly Ordinary: Pyongyang - Photography - M1key - Michal Huniewicz

these were taken this year. The new leader is allowing more entry and photos. You're going to tell me this capital looks as bad as some of the capitals in Africa or the M.E? :usure:

showing photos from 10 yrs ago, Im showing you photos from this year, and not from the media but from someone who actually got off his ass and checked it out himself independently.

Like I said, I'm not :cape: for the place, and I'd never live there. but I hate when people think they know a place from documentaries. I live in a country right now that used to be once seen as bad as NK, then I landed over here and was like.....wait....

I've also been to Africa, and I used to see so much shyt about it, you got FLOODS of Africans risking their lives to go to Italy, but then I realized its not ALL what you think it is. If you asked me to live in Africa, as a middle class, I'd have no problems doing it at all. but the media would tell you that's ludicrous. They only show you villages they never seem to show you middle class areas or the africans eating good. I've been to Venezuela and Favelas in Brazil, are they dangerous? sure, but is it all violence and killing 247....nah. There's always 2 sides of the coin, just like in america. You can have a nice ass house in the burbs or a trailerpark using a septic tank with a shytty one story hospital 40 miles away. 2 sides...of...the...coin.

Breh, I've already said I know whurr ya goin wit dat shyt. But I've also said fear and brainwashin is also a crucial reason many of those same "middle class" govt employees don't & can't run. Dere's been multiple officers/govt employees who still risked thier lives to escape and help othas escape.

You really think all dese people gave a shyt about Kim like dat? Breh, come on. :mjlol:

Some of those refugees eam talked about people havin to put spit in thier eyes to look like tears so dey wouldnt appear sus and get yoked up.

You can take pretty landscape pics of almost anywhurr on da planet. Dat shyt is not indicative of what's goin down in da actual parts where civilization is actually poppin off, brosephs.

And Norf Korea is already well known and documented to put on a facade(almost comical) to its outside visitors.:francis:

of course brain washing is an issue, but how the hell will you know youre being brainwashed when you're born in that? its the same with how people are brainwashed believing some jewish hippy walked on water, some people devoting their whole life to it, remaining virgins forever, Vatican they over there doing ridiculous ceremonies people legit having break downs when the pope dies. its the same shyt. Im sure some people in the vatican are like "thank god that nikka dead I hated that bytch ass pope" and some people are legit rolling on the floor crying talking about "pope let your spirit bless me from the heavens" like breh aint decomposing in the ground. its the same shyt. the people that wake up, leave, the people that are under the spell, remain.

"do you really think people give a shyt about Kim" Hell yea I do. nikka there are some north koreans that would kill your whole family for him. :wtf:

- Which is what I've said, nikka. :what:

- And I said all da people shown goin ape shyt. Not some. Which goes back to da highlighted.

But again, a lot of dat kinda allegiance you're referrin to is largely based on fear of what will happen if dey don't obey.

Curious...Do you think those same people who would kill for him would do so if dey weren't met with da consequences should dey chose not to? :patrice:

Yes. In NK, the dear leader is considered GOD. Same way the Japanese viewed the Emperor as god, thats why after WWII, he was never jailed or tried as a war criminal, it would have caused national mayhem, easily 1 million kamikaze and mass suicide.

I don't think you realize how devoted some are to the 'Dear Leader'. If most weren't...they'd have already toppled him years ago. Who would stay to fight if none were devoted? PY would look like a war torn african country where no one gives 2 shyts about a scary dictator. fear isn't it...many leaders are feared yet face revolts, its the brainwashing, religion and culture

I think we've bof already established da brainwashing aspect but I think we're gonna hafta agree to disagree on da fear part.

Dat govt will throw yo ass in a prison labor camp right along witcha family if you eam so much as question shyt or get caught fukkin wit anything from da outside world. And execution is right dere for dat ass inna hot minute too.

Dat goes for err body. :francis:

I'm not saying NK is fantastic, but I would assume olympic athletes don't live that bad in NK (don't take the media as nonbias without exaggeration, it will always have dashes of it). The capital looks a lot better than most 3rd world countries, I mean Pyongyang vs many capitals is a blow out. I bet they're looking at Rio with very little envy with the exception of the beach (you won't get your shyt stolen and your head busted in Pyongyang). Everyone always thinks their home is better than the outside world, just look at americans. Folks will live in the shyttiest neighborhood and wouldn't relocate abroad for the life of them. Sampe applies to NK, they don't know any better.
fukk outta here, NK sounds like a hell hole
