I can personally recommend "zealot: the life and times of Jesus of Nazareth" by Reza Aslan and "did Jesus exist" by Bart ehrman

Outside of that you can do your own Google's and come to your own conclusions...There are thousands upon thousands of scholarly books on the subject....Again, I am not arguing that the Christian mystic idea of Jesus is true, these books argue that Jesus the actual man existed, with other historical accounts and documentation from various periods used as sources

Now give me an extensive scientific theory for Jesus being a super hero. We got extensive theories for things much more far-fetched so the scientific community should have no problem coming up with one for ol' boy.

Who said that the theory had to be scientific? If that's the criteria I don't have an explanation for you. It's not a scientific question.

I didn't come to believe in Jesus by logical argumentation, but I think that history can tell us a lot about who Jesus was and what people who knew Him thought of Him. If I had to put something forth, I'd say that the fact that the disciples preached that Jesus rose from the dead, even though they could (and did) die for that belief, tells us that their claim is worth looking into.

Not too many people would die for something they knew wasn't true.

So, let me get this straight...

You dismiss the opinions of scholars and experts out of hand, by saying "scholars say you a monkey too". Even if that were true--and it isn't, in modern scholarship--it's bad reasoning. Being wrong on one thing doesn't make you wrong on an unrelated thing.

So, no scholarly or expert opinions to prove Jesus's existence, according to you.
