Question for Coli bruhs who's seen Sinners...
(don't come in here complaining to me bout spoilers either, you see da title)​

Question:
How is this not just a regular degular vampire movie? ...yes i've seen it already


I liked alot of the camera shots from an aesthetic point of view, but the story wasn't particularly stand out.

• Is it a good movie? yes
• Is it some kinda landmark achievement? nah, but it's a solid entertaining movie I'd recommend

Concession:
There was one part near the end I couldn't hear the dialogue good, where they flashed back to the beginning white folks plotting or something along those lines.
That said, I caught that stuff when it originally occurred on screen near the beginning of the movie ...maybe it would click more if I spend more time with the dialog in the movie.

Looked like a take on the "From dusk till dawn" premise for black folks

Yea it def got some of it's influence from 'From Dusk Still Dawn' but the aesthetic and cinematography were amazing and it painted a unique portrait of Black Southern life in the early 20th century post slavery.
