My girl and I used to think we was bougie with it going to the Cheesecake Factory in Crabtree. Spending my whole Best Buy check getting to Raleigh and getting both her and my meals. Be broke the rest of the week

I spent two years there before moving to the Sip, but that’s my school so I rep them. East ain’t really got no identity though, and the nikkas from Winston there were really some Glenn nikkas just on the opposite end of the street. It was your traditional white football school. A bunch of preppy white kids from kernersville with a few of us blacks, some from Winston and some from Kville. Both East and Glenn was in Kville. I was chasing baseball, so my parents thought it would be best for me to go to East.

My pop went to Carver.

I know it's not Durham, but can we discuss Bahama Breeze on a Friday night? My folks all said me and wifey should go there sometime. Nice atmosphere, good food, live music, etc. We got a sitter for the kids, dressed pretty nice, made reservations and all that. Breh, we got there and that shyt turned into a white tee and Girbauds contest.

The entire Durham is not that bad these days. The 'bad' sections are still pretty fukked up though but the city has imimprovequite a bit over the last 10 years.

Moved from Durham in 2000. Great memories. Skating at Wheels , endless middle school insanity at Rogers Herr and Githens, pizza at Satisfactions in Brightleaf Square, gyros at Saladelia, basketball camp at NCCU where the one white kid was laughing at me for being a virgin at 10 . I was sad to hear they closed South Square mall; that Southpoint shyt ain't the same.

I never technically been to North Carolina but I guess I seen the edge off it from that theme park between the states, squinting for the difference like I only spent a week in South Carolina and it was at the university.
