Asheville is beautiful. A foodie’s paradise. And very hippie-ish. Even has a little gritty urban feel in some parts of the city limits. It’s NCs gem . If there were more diversity there, I’d put it top 3. Shyt even without it , I’m tempted to put it top 3.

And I’m speaking strictly on natural city charm , uniqueness , topography , layout ... not about clubbing and nightlife offerings and who lives there and city size and population .


They show love for the most part to black tourists in town because, again, it’s hippied-out and tourism is how most eat up there.

Would cop a vacay crib there. It’s crazy expensive tho.


I’d argue that Asheville has the MOST character of any NC city/town.


Heavy weed and beer “culture” there too.

Wilmington is also slept on too imo. Both Asheville and Wilmington have dense and character-laden downtowns and city cores for their sizes.

Wait a minute I went to an A&T home game and y’all stadium is actually smaller than ours
