Lets say you work on an agile team:
1) you are not senior at position(BA)
2) you work with two people who are the senior BAs
3) they are always asking for help on how to do sht. its confusing to me bc they are the senior BAs
4) you cant flat out say no or you're not a team player.
5) when they have an idea(usually a silly one) , they say "I". When they fukk up, thet say say "We"
6) manager dont seem to realize how bad the issue is. or he willingly ignores bc he'd have to reshuffle the team.

question for yall: how do you highlight what's going on, without coming off as a "difficult to work with" type employee??

If you don’t report directly to them then you can tell them no. It’s really don’t matter who the fukk they are and what they title is, you gotta let them know by words or actions that you ain’t with none of that bullshyt they on.

If your manager don’t seem to care, then skip the chain of command on that fukk nikka and email his boss about the shyt. Your manager won’t like it, but I guarantee they address the issue.

But fukk all that police ass shyt, confront these two mothafukkas directly and tell them some shyt about to be changing round this bytch. Do it in a professional manner of course

If you’re not willing to assert yourself then you can’t do shyt. You asking these questions trends towards you not being assertive (for whatever reason) in the workplace. This is an ideal situation for you to gain leverage and advance your position.

They’re not collaborating if they don’t know what to do. That’s code speak for “show me how to do it”. Instead of spending time posting this, you should’ve created an action plan and presented it to their boss directly as well as them. This thread needed to be a “I got fired” or “I just took my boss’s job” thread. You have to be willing to take that chance. Advancement is mostly about leverage in most industries.

bro the thought that you are thinking don't even pop into my head.
if someone ask for assistance, i just do what they want if i can and once i am done i don't even follow up to see how it went or if "i" or "we" got the credit.
but at the end of the day i know that my corporate position is my team player/worker bee position.
i got other endeavors to take lead on and that's a whole different story that makes me glad that i can just be a team player on something else lol

Im in a similar situation.. I took a promotion recently and the senior manager seems concerned with her appearance and presentation skills only.

I’ve taken two steps.

I’ve taken a proactive approach to the workload and when she comes to me with wack ideas I fold her into mines or I present mine off top to limit her.

I also approached my director and asked for a more defined role. Basically asking to split the department between me and the senior manager.

Idgaf if it bothers her or anyone else. Team work is cool but I ain’t got time for someone can’t keep up with a basic Excel dashboard.

Have you had a one-on-one w/ your manager and discussed these issues? Is that line of communication open and free of judgement? If you haven't done that yet I would do that first. Just come w/ receipts.

Nah my nikka. at first i was open to help too. But they wont even try to find the answer on their own. This one dude got on the team bc he says he know how to use powerbi. hes been assigned his first project to work with it and now im finding he doesnt know anything about it :dahell: he flat out asks me to do one dashboard while he watches so he can do the rest :dead:

yea i used to do that but they started looking stupid in the scrum meetings. So now she tries to meet before the meeting to know what im going to say. I just say I'm busy and cant talk until after team meetings
