Not all of them are angry, mean and cold hearted towards the man their mother plan to settle down with all because he isnt their real father.

illl tell you one thing it works better if the man is a in a similar situation(has kids as well). when it comes to woman who have been widowed theres a slight possibility i would go for it thats only if she was the one for sure. But i cant cape for any other type of woman who has that lingering ex husband who will never be gone because of the attachment the kids will forever keep between them. relationships are already hard enough and kids bring in more factors which makes it even more complex. so why put yourself through the situation , their are men stuck in the same situation as some single mothers probably fewer but nonetheless you see my point. Lets this be a lesson to you when you decide to have kids make sure you plan on being with that person for life.

Depends on what she does for a living and how much family support she has. She'd have to be making some serious bank for me to consider jumping into that situation...

...and it's not because I'd want to mooch off of her either.

It's that I'm young, educated, and take fairly good care of myself. If I'm to be with someone long-term and love them, I'd want to experience the joys/surprises of life as a couple...organically...from start to finish. I don't want to skip the important episodes in the Emmy-nominated series that is my LIFE and just start and start at season 3.

I couldn't get with a chick that has kids (regardless of her story) because at the end of the day, you're jumping into a situation with huge responsibilities off the bat. In this situation, you're still getting to know the chick and BAM, you already have to deal with TWO children. There's no gradual build-up. You're just there...opting to waste your potential with used goods (Sorry). I want to experience the beauty and privacy of a single relationship before I decided "Okay...we've had our fun. Let's have kids..."

...and if I have kids, I want them to be MY legacy. fukk if I'm selfish but it's not like I'm ever going to be HURTING to have kids. There's no biological clock for me...so if I'm going to have them, who's to fault me for wanting them to be from MY DNA...with MY features...and MY awesome genetics & personality qualities....with the names that I decided to give them?

The bold is understanding, I dont think anyone would want to deal with having to take care of their woman and HER kids. But if you really love her, nothing wrong with helping out...not having to give an arm and leg but at least a helping hand.

A woman with kids who is single out of circumstance is way different than a woman who is dealing with all kinds of dudes and having multiple kids by different baby daddies, but kids out of wedlock are still undesireable for the following reasons:

1) You will be put in the backseat from the get-go. Her child needs come first and rightfully so, but you will be 'second' at all times during the relationship.

2) You will eventually be more and more responsible for those kids the longer the relationship goes on. She will ask you to start playing daddy. This leads to 3:

3) You can be put on child support for kids that aren't yours. You start playing daddy to those kids that aren't yours, and you two break up and you are stuck paying for kids that aren't yours.

4) You cannot discipline those kids since in their mind and even her mind, you aren't their daddy.

5) She will always have a deep connection to another man, seeing as she bore his children. Everytime she looks at her kids, she will think of him.
