I got s simple question. What sounds better?

1. I'm unemployed but I'm applying for 30 dollar and up jobs.

Or

2. I'm working at McDonalds right now but I'm applying for 30 dollar and up jobs.

I want to know because perception and how were viewed. Let's say you're meeting people and low income if that's the case does 1 sound better than 2?

I mean think about drug dealers, you can say the appeal is they talk money or even if they're small time drug dealers they speak big dreams.
