If you barely made enough to cover your expenses and you had a choice to work day shift or overnight what would you choose?

Tell me why.

It'sa temporary struggle but overnight or regular hours?

Overnight might be more low key and go by “quicker” if you can listen to music while not too many people are around and you might not have to exert yourself as music.

shyt will eventually turn you into a zombie but if it’s a short term thing while you figure out the master plan then do what you gotta do. Don’t be too proud to do what it takes to upgrade your situation. But this shouldn’t be some shyt you settle for to a point where it’s your routine.

Save some bread, get the best MacBook you can afford, steal some programs, learn from some tutorials and get them damn certs

I would choose the shift that pays the most. But, sometimes convenience and comfort supercedes pay rate increases..

If you are not accustomed to working 2and or 3rd shift, then it may be a challenge. Other than that, you gotta do what you gotta do and sometimes that may include making sacrifices towards ones lifestyle...

Do what is best for you!

I do overnights on the weekend, 16 hours and in the process of getting another part time during the week, another 16-24 hours. I’m also taking night classes during the week. What I make at my graveyard is pretty good for the amount of hours so once I start this other job I should be sitting pretty good. Good enough to where I can get ahead and make a lil cushion for myself and I’ll be able to quit one of the jobs.

Night work definitely kills your sleep pattern. I be breaking night like it is nothing because I can’t sleep. I’m up at 5:50am writing this, didn’t shut my eyes yet.

The grind is no joke it can really fukk you up, it is definitely a short term thing.

Daytime is better overnight kills sleeping habits. Don't work overnight unless upu Makin decent bread.

you'll soon revert back to normal sleeping patterns once the temporary job is done.

i would prefer nights you are not in the hustle and bustle of the commute wars and you dont deal with too much public interaction.

only bad side is your social life takes a knock but thats good if you're trying to save and its only temp so.

nights more pay too :ehh:

Where I work it's nights but you can't bring a phone or anything and can't do anything so I'm out. I don't mind working for better but if you making no real money you can't sacrifice your sleep for that.

If I could do my homework or something there that's not bad but if I can't do that it's no sense. Also I wake up like 3pm and I'll still tired.

Spin around and the day gone.

Personally I love nights, I get the best amount of sleep cause I'm knocked as soon as I come home and don't feel restricted. I read a lot and do research on many subjects and work on a lot of hobbies and mentally I can't stand forcing myself to go to sleep by like 10-11 pm. I also detest waking up and going to work in the morning, morning time feels much better when I'm not working. It's just something to me that I hate working while it's daylight out I feel like I'm wasting my life. I feel like I have more time in my day when I wake up and it's light outside. Plus I live in Jacksonville ain't shyt going on at night most of the time. I just got moved to second shift 3-11. This shyt feels boring as hell.
