Saturday will be my last night shift. I was only working three days a week, but it seems longer on nights. I get shift differentials, but it’s not worth it imo. Now I got a m-f day shift job, that pays a little less but it’s more hours so I’ll be around the same amount. Maybe some would think it’s foolish, but night shift just isn’t natural for your body and even my eating habits took a turn. I just wasn’t feeling right keeping weird hours.
I took night shift because I needed a job, the goal was not to stay on for too long. I succeeded, I would suggest you do days. Everyone is different though.
The real goal is to get to three or four days on day shift now
