Good question. I am just following what i read Prophet Muhammad (Salalahu Alayhi Wa Salam) pray for in the highly touted book called The Sealed Nectar. KDs midrange is about as good as Kobe's that's why it's not a big deal. Kobe relies on midrange much more just like MJ. Durant can but seems more lethal from outside.

The 3 point shot pretty much is a midrange for kd anyways or as they say "a layup"


Kobe's post is light years ahead of Durant though and that's what really helps Kobe's case. I agree that's a big deal.

But when Durant gets the post game and the footwork like kobe AND a little more strength/weight
