I don't think Rivers was NBA ready. He might ball, but he really could have benefitted from a couple years in college.

Depending on how this thread goes it could be a lowkey classic from here...

At this rate rivers is only in the league cause his daddy coaches...expect him to be on the clippers as soon as his contract is up with the pelicans

Some players need to play 3 or 4 years of college. Austin Rivers is one them. I would keep him in the D-League for a season and sharpen up his game.

Austin Rivers has potential. What type of player I'll become, I don't know anymore. Crazy thing is, he once said he models his game after D Wade. So I guess he's the next Wade :manny:

this. Rivers is a cat who needs 3 years and in that 3rd year, the team makes a national title run which boosts the stock of the whole damn starting 5. This manufactured hype/weak draft classes got these team drafting busts. You would think with all of the pre-draft camps/workouts that the scouts/fukkin GMs would have a firm idea of who is legit and who isnt. This isnt some playground shyt where you pick an unknown dude for your team and hope he doesnt get stripped while bringing the ball up.

I think if he didn't have his fathers pedigree, people would see this, I still think he can be a solid player, but he has not believe his own hype and the team needs to see him as a project instead of thrusting him on the floor where he can't really contribute.

Blackthoughts why the hell did you up this thread? There is literally no reason for you to have done this, except to just have more Warriors threads on the first page. No one believes Rivers is anywhere near Curry and you know this.

Rivers is trash
