Oops, I meant the other two. Iversons a better leader and faster than Rose. Rose is unselfish but AI had to ball hog. AI is a better passer toowhen he wants to be.
I was trying to be nice, but until Rose leads a team of scrubs to the NBA finals he shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as Iverson. Really, the other two are the point of this thread.

there's nothing that Iverson is better at athletically than Westbrook/D-Rose/John Wall/Damian Lillard/Bledsoe/etc/ Face the facts... next generation gets better.

I love watching Rose play, but I've always said he was a slightly more explosive Marbury.
He's more sane and mentally stable, though.
If Marbury had it between the ears, he could've went down as a top 10 pg of all time.He had the raw talent.
He was seen as the future of the pg position when he was in Minny with KG, but his crazy ass wanted to be traded closer to home so he could "be the man" and his game regressed ever since.
His playmaking skills as far as passing the ball and finding the open man diminished.....it seemed like he wanted to play like Iverson.His first few years in Minny, he was more of a pure point.
I'd even go so far to say a 19 yr old Marbury>>>>>19 yr old Rose
But that's just my opinion.Marbury had better court vision and a better J at 19.

^ i just saw one too many DRose come back videos last week and wanted to put it out there. People saying hes the best in the league when healthy, best PG, etc.....But I never understod all the hype? Wanted to if anyone in the coli agreed with me. Moving on....

this hype didn't start until after he won the MVP after he put it out there no1 in the media was pumping him up for it until he was sewing it up. Mofos was saying Beasley had the ROY in the bag and would be the better player. Point blank his play has earned him the hype and players you listed were has beens and never was putting hypotheticals on them to put them over any player now is sadstop

Iverson had the coach of the year,defensive player of the year and 6th man of the year and there wasn't one team in the east then of miami's caliber
People do overrate rose as a pg
