Question, why is JR Smith still a starter, let alone even getting playing time?

Wade. People still guard jr regardless If he making them or not. Nobody is gonna guard wade out there regardless

This, shooting poorly or not just the threat of him being able to hit the three opens up spacing on the court.

:heh:

Wade's averages are better because he touches the ball a lot more and his time of possession is almost three times the amount of JR's (while playing primarily against second units), despite playing less minutes. It seems like you haven't even been watching the games with a post like this.

nikka, that proves that Wade is a more valuable player and fits better if he gets 3x more touches but plays 23 mpg as opposed to JR's 29mpg. :snoop: if JR cant get it done in the touches he gets then thats his problem. if he came off the bench he would get more touches. so aint that what I just said?? but HE wanted to be a starter. anybody can see that J.R. can be ultra aggressive and get more touches with the 2nd unit than with the first. :what:

I dont even have to guess to tell you that production wise, J.R. is the worst starter in the league. I just checked and as far as points, there is no other player as bad as him that plays anywhere CLOSE to his minutes. Jack and Anuoby are better on top of playing less minutes. There are no other starters even in J.R.s range...only mediocre bench players like Abrines or Thornwell :dead:

It doesn't prove anything of the sort. How could you possibly believe this? The Cavs barely have any resemblance of a system, if they did, JR would be more involved in the offense, instead of being used as an escape route on offense - which is half the reason why he's not productive and inefficient. If you're only touching the ball 34 times a game, mostly at inopportune times while averaging 30 minutes, how the hell are you expected to be productive and efficient?
if JR cant get it done in the touches he gets then thats his problem.
I'm not even going to bother reading the rest of your post after this nonsense.

Me - a JR dikkrider?

:heh:

Newsflash, fukk nikka, I don't let my emotions get in the way of acknowledging the reality of the situation. Some nerve you have, calling other dudes "dikkriders", when your mouth is stationed right below Wade's nuts in every single related thread.

well he also will do anything to deflect and say that the reason why J.R. is trash this year is Bron's fault, even though he is playing the same amount of minutes he always has in a starters role. Bron is playing better than ever, why isnt J.R.? J.R. was always a bench guy, its just that with Kyrie they were able to make it work with him.

JR is a streaky and temperamental player, he needs to have ideal conditions to perform - giving him the bare minimum of touches when the shot clock is winding down is antithetical to that.
even though he is playing the same amount of minutes he always has in a starters role.
Lord have mercy, y'all are some basic ass muh'fukkas if you view the game like this.

I didn't realize we were telling jokes?

Not only is Bron not playing better than ever, but he monopolizes the Cavs' possessions, so, therefore, he can develop rhythm, he can stay engaged in the game, he can put up #s, he has the fortune of being able to score when and how he wants and not forced to score as soon as he touches the ball etc.

How productive/efficient on offense do you think LeBron would be if he was on a team where he only touched the ball 34 times a game (used as a last resort option, i.e. to bail out the offense when they couldn't generate an open look), while being used as a spot-up shooter to provide spacing for the team's lead ball-handler?
