Baseball has the toughest community to win over. Testing positive for steroids or getting caught gambling means never making the HOF.

Kobe and Vick were stars, there will always be extra chances for people like that.

An abrasive guy like Trevor Bauer who causes more problems, and was only an All-Star ONCE, will always get fewer chances.

That is basically it.
