They kinda reminded me of the 2000 Lakers with this run. Shaky in spots because they're still learning the ropes. A lot of that team was inconsistent in the Finals besides Curry and Iguodala. Doubt that happens like this again.

They could be even better next season and primed for a monster postseason. I wouldn't bet against them at this point.

Depends on what happens in free agency. If Aldridge ends up in San Antonio then those old geezers are right back in the mix and if Memphis finally gets reliable shooting, they'll be in play as well. Then there's OKC and the LAC. The talent is there, just a matter of things coming together for those teams.

No it wasnt

Take defense away from Curry and he never has a bad game and goes off like in game 1. The defensive change with Mosgov and Dova actually helped the Cavs. The result would have been the same because Irvins lack of defense only benefits Curry and the Warriors. No traps and Curry has his way the entire series.

If the Cavs were healthy they would have won
A healthy Cavs team scores more points, but they're getting raped on the defensive end.

Kyrie playing more minutes means DellavedirtyPlayer isn't on Steph as much, meaning Steph raining 3s down on the Cavs without rushing his shot like he was in Game's 2 and 3.

They got a lot of young talent. They should be in the convo for the next 3 years at least.

Depends on how healthy the rest of the West is, OKC is right there to challenge them. If many teams can stay healthy we're in for an epic season next year on both coasts. I doubt we'll see a three-peat much less back to back for awhile in this league, I just don't see teams being able have that level of dominance anymore

My point in highlighting that is that you can't say they were healthy.

They weren't but my point is I don't see the difference. Less defense and more offense plays into the Warriors hands. It would've been closer no doubt like in Game 1, but I don't see the Cavs winning just because Irvin and Love are there, especially when we all saw what that would look like with Lebron and Irving (who are the 1 & 2 guys) and they still lost.

Doubt it. They just had the GOAT luck season. Everything that could break right for them did & the odds of that happening again are extremely slim.

And don't take it as I'm saying they weren't good because they were.

They won't make it past the 2nd round next year. Bookmark this post. This season was unprecedented, I'm talking the perfect storm of perfect storms, between injuries, seeding, and just all around fukkery. They won't run into this kind of luck ever again and we'll see exactly what I know they are next year when they get bounced early.

Can't wait for 3-4 years from now when they're known as the asterisk title and Curry the WOAT MVP because they were never able to get the job done again when everyone was healthy. :blessed:

Good question.

Only Cleveland and OKC stand in their way.

This.

Doubt it. They was going to lose to OKC this year if they stayed healthy.
