If you think it's wrong for an private employer to fire an employee because the employee is black, and that that should be illegal, do you also believe that it's wrong for an employee to quit because their employer is black, and that that should be illegal as well? why or why not?

Laws expressing discrimination apply to Private companies as well. Yes it's against the law but how does one prove it was because they were :fill in the blank:
It's not illegal to quit a job but it's very suspect not to know your employer is black.

If all things were equal. Meaning black people had just as much economic pull as whites then no I wouldn't have a problem with white employers not hiring blacks(well I would think it was stupid, but shouldn't be illegal) or the scranrio you put forth.

But being that this countries wealth was built off the backs of black slaves who in turn have to go beg the beneficiaries of that wealth to employ them, then I have no problem with the laws being lopsided in order to give black folks a chance at catching up.

So an 'employer' hired someone who was black, then decided to fire them because they are black.
And then an employee decided to work for someone who wasn't black, then decided to quit because the employer wasn't black...

Surely you meant 'hire' instead of fire, right??
