Try to to diss Nas storytelling skills yet still big up Nas storytelling skills brehs

And I agree Blaze is the better track, that's one of Nas best storytelling songs, but Rewind is still dope. The story really is the concept of going in reverse itself. Ultimately the songs are trying to do different things. Blaze is telling a more complex noir/femme fatale kind of story, while Rewind is more just Nas experimenting and having fun with a wild concept.

Love the song, but those are not the only fukkups in the track.

When you rap a story backwards, how is it possible the bullet goes back in the gun first and than the bullethole closes in the chest? Shouldn't the bullethole in the chest close first before the bullet goes back in the gun?

Classic song still, though.

As a writing exercise when I was younger I did my own version of rewind and that backward sentence shyt is hard to do and make it rhyme. Nas did that shyt effortlessly. Yea the story is simple but to make a complex narrative rhyme and with all the descriptions of things moving backwards.... cats never satisfied
