I don't know if Yeshua looked similar to me. But I know he didn't have no blonde hair and blue eyes.
So if "they" lied about his appearance, do you think theres a chance they lied about aspects his life?
Holy Book- Holy Bible. I believe it's give the divine revelation of the true God.
Which specific bible?I I ask because different bibles have "small" differences which could lead to major differences in interpretation
Yes, slave masters had influence on their religious beliefs. I'm not of the school though that says "Thank God for slavery or we'll never heard Christianity". Christianity was in Africa before it was in Europe.
Do you believe parts of christianty came from other/older african belief systems aswell? Or are you saying christianity was always "christianity" and didnt borrow from anything else but still came from africa?
I'm Baptist. I know of denom. like AME who have that influence. But Baptist were very Afrocentric which many don't know. That's why many Baptist churches have "Missionary" in it. Because the Black church was sending missionaries over to Africa.
I didn't know this. So if christianity was in parts of africa before america, shouldn't Africans be sending missionaries to the western world instead?.
Well, that's a 2 part answer. Obviously, White racist lied to promote it to advantage. At the same time, people make different pictures of Jesus to look like themselves. For example this is a picture of Jesus in China. But does that lead me to believe they lied about him in the Bible. No.
I use various versions but mainly the English Standard Version. There is nothing significant that changes in meaning in the different versions. Different words are used. But nothing changes the meaning dramatically.
If you mean borrow as like the Egyptian myth stories (i.e. Horus/Jesus). No. Now, was Christianity African influenced. Most def. The person who first used the term Trinity was an African named Tertullian. Another African who influenced Christianity was Augustine or as Catholics call him St. Augustine. And there are many more. Of course, the Coptic (African) Christians still exist today.
One of the 1st people baptized in the book of Acts was an Ethopian Eunuch in Acts chapter 8.
As far as African shoulda been sending missionaries to us. Not really sure about the history about that. But if you look up the Coptic church and its founder. You'll see that it was in Africa way before it became the so called "White man's religion". It was founded by Mark. The same Mark who wrote the book of Mark who was a Jew from Africa.

and what is that?
