-How different are the show and books?

-Are they going along with the books? or are they taking stuff from each and putting it in the show as it moves along?
A follow up for the previous question: -With season 4 approaching, how many books are they in?

-How many seasons could be done?

-The books are a lot more detailed and give you more insight into the characters. The show is essentially it's own canon/universe from the books/novellas
-The show is a good adaptation and follows the flow of the books for the most part. They change things here and there, though
-Season 4 is going to be the second half of the third book
-There's supposed to be seven books. Book 3 was split into two seasons so unless later books get split up, the show is probably going to be eight seasons
