This thread hopefully will become a mimi guide for a specific kind of newly evolving man. The newly evolving man is not scared bully, posturing like some king kong in charge of the universe. Nor is he a new age wimp, all spineless, smiley , and starry-eyed. He dosent need to be right all the time, nor does he need to be always safe , cooperative, kinda like a simp(lol). As men we should be living from our deepest core and sharing with one another ...from the multitude of experiences in life that we have gone threw to make each other better.

When I look over at the lil gems on dealing with women thread its great things being said in that thread but I also felt like there are some fundamental things that some of the men in that thread are missing ...including me. That thought is what inspired this thread . This thread is to help develop the inner man its NOT about women.

I wanna talk about heavy issues that are going to be uncomfortable that pertains to from a boy to a man. Hopeful this is the foundation were we can lay some real gems about being better in this world or wilderness to some .

My Question:

How do you define being a man ?

What dose being a man mean to you?

How do you become a man whats the process ?

What are the qualities you think a real man has ?

What qualities do men lack when you look out into the world and take a long look ?

I feel ya OP. Quite simply its like this:

My father taught me how to be a man, my close friends respect the man that I am and my wife recognizes (& obeys) the man in me.

All else is an afterthought.

....And for the guys that dont have farthers ?. Another thing Is if you died today what bit of knowledge would you pass on to your fellow man or even some kids.

Respecting people & treating em how u wanna be treated is number 2.

Remaining calm & dependable in a crisis is number 3. For example the death of a relative.

If you say you're gonna do something, do it. Don't say you will, unless u will. Your word is important.

I know I've read that posturing scared bully line somewhere else, friend. It's a good line though.

The biggest quality I see missing and try to have is not needing to dikkride other men or have their validation all the time and being able to stand on your own.
