Not gonna post the basic shyt but this is what I've learned.

-Get to the joking around phase with your boss as soon as possible. The sooner you get there the easier it'll be for both of you to admit mistakes and overlook negative traits.

-Don't try to go against your boss unless you have undeniable proof they're fukking up. Even then know that you might still get ignored. Bosses usually stick together and will try and put up a united front (usually)

-Do things that aren't expected of you, I learned early to "go the extra mile for a smile". At first I applied it to customers but now it's stuck and I apply it to my employers. I try and do that little extra just cause. Enough to get noticed but not enough to make it look like I'm desperate to get noticed.

the evils of truth, and love
dam you made a un-original but original thread :ohhh: :mindblown:

make no jokes unless completely appropriate for the situation or better yet dont if your just socially awkward

when lunch break comes if your in the company of any bosses try to get in some personal knowledge of them the more comfortable they feel with you the better off for you sort of like bytches

never let them see you sweat slack or lack if you really need to keep that job otherwise you will probably be first on the shyt list when nature takes its course through natural selection

  • report to work on time
  • do whatever your job entails to completion
  • take only the alloted time for your lunch break
  • don't gossip
  • clock out at your appropriate time (if you're hourly)
  • don't talk shyt about co-workers or management to ANYONE that works with you
  • keep your social network accounts private, and don't talk negatively about work on them.
  • DO NOT add co-workers to your social network accounts
  • practice good personal hygiene.
  • make sure your uniform or work clothing is clean and not wrinkled. send your shyt to the cleaners, if you can afford it.
  • do your best and go above and beyond sometimes
  • don't send personal emails on your work account
  • smile, be happy, and learn to not show anger or disgust on your face. hide your true feelings.
  • don't talk about your personal life, religion, politics, or anything race related with your co workers.
  • DONT fukk anyone at your company. *unless your company is HUGE and the person that you wanna fukk is not in your department or building*

- build up a savings account with a minimum of 3 months living expenses
- get some skills that are in demand

when you have these two, you don't have to worry about kissing some manager's ass or having some supervisor talk slick shyt to you and not being able to do anything about it for fear of losing your job.

If you don't like the people, the work, or your management for whatever reason you can easily tell them to kick rocks with no fear :lawd:

Here are some things I learned at my last job:

-Never underestimate anybody. You never know who knows who and who is capable of what.

-Sometimes it's just best to shut the fukk up. Even when you know you're right.

-Choose your battles wisely. It isn't always a wise thing to pop off at everything and everybody.

-God gave you two ears, two eyes, and one mouth. What does that mean? Watch and listen more than ever now and talk later.

-Sometimes it's good to be in with the janitor.

-Know of the gossip mill but, do not be of the gossip mill.

-Do your work no matter what! Even when you feel like you are being abused and used (Had to learn that one the hard way).
