Quick Question: Why are intelligent females berated here?

It's mostly the male trolls who do so because they can't muster up an articulate enough to response to counter what's being said. There are a lot of cool male posters on here and they outnumber the trolls.

When I want to discuss medicine or academics, I log onto StudentDoctor.
What's more, how many females who are "intelligent" here have ever ventured outside of The Locker Room or Salon?
Outside of the gender war threads?
I can count on one hand how many self proclaimed savants I've seen make an effort to post in Higher Learning.
Female posters who are actually intelligent - ex @Golden - do fine and do so without having to declare their intellectual prowess in random threads about interracial dating.
By proxy of you being a female, the coli was supposed to worship at the altar. We're all simply posters. Anonymous.
Men and women more intelligent than me are disrespected everyday on this board. Your degree or IQ level is irrelevant here.
A lot of you aren't as smart as you think you are, but if you don't like it, no one forces you to log in.
You do that by choice, and I'd wager you aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

I don't post in TLR that often anymore but from what I've noticed, the female posters that regularly get into back and forths with male posters only seem to post in blatant gender-war bait threads.

Those that try to just contribute to genuine threads/discussions seem to have a relatively stress-free experience.

All I can do is speak for myself, and try not to perpetuate misogyny in my posting/thinking/discouse, etc.

Real talk, I think many people just see things in a binary fashion, and cant accept multiple truths. some of the same lingo i see used to subjugate black women on here is the same shyt republicacs use to subjugate black people.

BUT at the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if i got berated at LSA. we have made a choice to put ourselves in these online communities. there will always be people with conflicting views, its all about how much of the bull you are internalizing.

Even in life, I've never been insulted or put down for being intelligent. If a man doesn't want to deal with me because I have a BA, that's his prerogative, but the men I've dealt with tend to like it, and that's not the focal point of our time together either way.
