Quick Reply keeps messing up

When I type in the quick reply box, and then hit "post quick reply", it automatically quotes the 1st post in the thread as if I am replying to it. For example, if you post in the quick reply box, and hit "post quick reply", it will quote this post right here

Very weird.

Hmmm. Maybe something to do with the checked box?

Alright, so this is continuing to be a problem.

For some reaosn, the box checks staying "checked" on it's own in certain threads.

click deselect

hmmmm....I did that, but it still keeps messing up.

What could the issue be?

i would have to log in and look, ive never heard of anything like that before.
