by this cursing all over songs logic.....then any nikkas with pianos in their songs similiar to mozartYou are full of sh*t. You not speaking facts. I didnt say they weren't cursing in the 80's. I said cursing all over records (Meaning the whole album , nearly every song, using the most obscene profanity) was not the norm. Most rappers in the 80;s were still making albums that u could play in front of ya parents. The Parental Advisory sticker was just becoming the norm in the early 90's, prior to that you hardly saw the sticker...You just saw a warning.....The Parental Advisory sticker on a record was a big thing at one point thats why Kane spoke about it on Heavy D's song Don't Curse. LL Cool J's 2nd album was the first record I remember having the removable sticker.....Neither NWA nor Slick Ricks first album had the PA sticker....It just had the removable warning. Rapperes would curse but it would be a few songs here and there not the whole album........ Once the 90's kicked in the Parental Advisory sticker started popping up and cursing all over records started becoming the norm. Big daddy Kanes 2nd album had curses but still didnt have the sticker just the removable warning...and he only had a select amount of songs that were cursing...he wasn't doing it wreckless like NWA and 2 Live Crew. Thats why I said NWA and 2 Live Crew were the top dogs in that area.......IF IM WRONG THEN U TELL ME WHO THE FUK WAS CURSING AS WRECKLESS AS NWA and 2 Live Crew IN THE LATE 80'S????????? That wasn't the norm dummy....so when Quik came out and his first song on his album was all about Sweet Black P*ssy...He fell in that category.
curse words mean nothing. The complete package is what matters
