Camille was the female alter ego that Prince used around the Sign of the Times/Lovesexy era (when Bad came out)

He used the sped up vocals and sang from a womans perspective. So who knows what Prince was trying to say.

BTW, this Myles Jack looking dude on the video is lame. Would have liked to see the video without his commentary.

i know, shyt got me like :ohhh:

to be honest prince was probably smoking dust during this time :manny:

Funny shyt is you can tell Q is biased toward Mike but to me he just made him look more like a real nikka. Even with that James brown shyt, I thought Prince came out of it looking like a rock star more so than a pop star which was really what their whole dynamic was about, he was a rebel. You can't take shyt away from Mike but he was a slave to the business in a sense. Like that Dave Chappelle bit where he talks about how when you look at Mike's face and call him weird and shyt just know that on some level he did that for you, for the the fans.

Prince was stand off-ish and ultimately did music for himself it seems and I respect the fukk outta that. He was popular but you could just tell some of the direction he took his music too he wasn't really having any regard for how the fans cared about it, whether it was him not performing his sexual material anymore or what have you, he was his own man and I think that clash at the James Brown gig kind of encapsulates who they two were as artists, who you prefer between them depends on what type of person you are .
