People started turning on Punk because he became a bland, corny face once he got the WWE Title. The big difference with Bryan is that Punk's stan base isn't as strong as D-Bry's, that' why I don't see the IWC turning on him unless he does some sick shyt outside the ring

I do think Punk is overall more popular than Bryan - or better put, he's probably moew known than DB - but the main argument was about how they are perceived by internet fans. And D-Bry does have the advantage there, I really don't know how else to tell you breh, he has been teflon with the IWC for almost a decade. And Punk, even though he's an internet darling too, never got the love Danielson got.

Punk doesn't appeal to the kids, so Bryan has a bigger base. Punk though can draw the heat more than Bryan. The only problem is fans don't realize that CM Punk doesn't give a shyt about the fans. He is too emotional at times, and thinks only for himself. He holds grudges too long, and it gets him into trouble.

I see a lot of kids wearing punk stuff too , it's hard to judge sometimes because we know fans love chanting shyt and yes is a catchy chant ( dbry is definitely the most over on the roster now just saying ) people still pop for the five knuckle shuffle for some reason and it's Not just kids , fans like those type of things . Punk does care about the fans (check his wizard world stuff )he's just not that friendly but he has kind of a throwback take on the business and probably cares too much about it. As successful as he is now he has no reason to try and big up underutilized guys or say dbry should headline mania (a spot he wants ) or bring up wrestler ppv bonuses he could just go along and not make waves . The guy is up at 3am texting Vince McMahon about old wrestling stuff
