but as always, you're just labeled a conspiracy theorist for saying the same shyt founders of companies or experts in their field say

until how ever many years later when that information is digested into bite size pieces to be rolled out by news media or hollywood

there's no benefit to everyone being herded onto these bloodsucking platforms, perhaps i lack a certain trait but it's just hard for me to understand where people see the benefit... i'd hope it's just a matter of accessibility

Honestly it's not social media, it's the way people use it. I use it to promote my photography business, I only have IG now, I used to have FB and Myspace. Every photographer and model I know uses social media to promote themselves. There was always going to be a plus and minus to it. I've seen people run successful businesses from it and I've seen people completely use it for stunting, airing out any problems they have with family and friends. It's all in how we use it.

What you said sounds smart to a dumb person a Forum is a place to discuss on specific topics of interest within a set of members. Social media is a place for building social connections to share personal expressions with friends and colleagues.

Basically, you stated something that boils down to what it is really about. Cultivating the narcissism already within individuals under the guise of "socializing" with them validation and boosting ones ego. It's an experiment all right but one that's about making someone narcissistic as thats what keeps these sites active. The more someone buys into it, the more narcissistic they become, the more out of touch they are, the more they subscribe to this social media and communicate less with people around them. It breeds monsters.

Obviously, the ones that are too deep pretty much are fukked at this point.
