Social media to me is just wack. Like do folks get tired of hearing themselves or self promoting. As he said, its all about capitalizing off of insecurity which is nothing new. Even worse, they're relying upon someone to make them into somebody. If you are comfortable enough with yourself, you don't need that shyt. really don't get all this need to broadcast everything to the world let alone have a fan club of mostly strangers for what exactly. I see so many people pouring themselves out there for nothing on social media and you can see how uncomfortable they are with themselves even on that shyt. Like there's no need to make yourself big. Just accept yourself as you are. I see so many people trying to make themselves larger than life and it's like seriously?
If you have one or two people that like you for who you are without you having to impress or can show your flaws and etc, thats great. If you're comfortable with being in your own skin without needing the validation of other people where you know you don't need all these Internet platforms to say something, then you're better off than a lot of people out here. All this need to be somebody when the truth is you are already somebody, it's that you have to know that in order to treat yourself like somebody. Developing an ego off of profiles and likes and learning how to be self obsessed isn't going to help you. In fact, it can ruin your life and isolate you.
And a message board is not the same as social media. Big difference.
