Try quitting weed its tougher, the days go slowly, the hours slowly, everything feels dull and less fun. One just has to perserve and find other outlets for fun/engagement. I have gotten into gaming a bit to stop these urges.

Was never a drinker like that. I only drink during social settings, and not more than a couple of beers at that. I hate hangovers, so that was a good enough deterrent to keep things light.

I disagree. Though I'm not a drinker, I think quitting is easy when you want it to be easy. Stop hanging around that crowd, get big on fitness, outdoor activities, etc.

Most drinkers sit around doing nothing all day IMO.
