I saw Ra live in his prime. He was most definitely the top mc of his day, but talk of his status is redundant in this day and age coz he never kept it up.

Was just playing "Follow The Leader" about an hour ago.
If I had to pick one MC as the GOAT, not necessarily my favorite, but as Hip Hop's best MC ever, it would have to be Rakim. The first three albums are beyond classic. Lyrically, way ahead of his time. No real weakness in what he brought to the table. Dude was advanced. It's crazy to know that he was making those records damn near 30 years ago. KRS is my favorite MC of all-time, but I'd always go with Rakim as the GOAT though.

Doesn't affect what I think about his music. KRS still has classics doesn't matter what he says about Bambatta. Are all you guys going to say you were wrong if it turned out that Bambatta was innocent? From what I've heard I doubt it but you never know.
