Wildheart was flamessss

don't listen to alsina so i don't know about his situation, but miguel, while dropping a cool album, didn't drop the album he needed to drop to ascend to the mass market or even to continue to grow in the "urban" market. that's cool, but i don't think that was his goal. he was on the cusp with kaleidoscope, at all the award shows drop kicking bytches and whatnot...but i think he can still "salvage" his career, dudes like alsina tho, he's a urban artist to the core and that's a fickle fanbase, might be a wrap for him...even chris brown and trey aren't poppin right now
Came in here to say this....it was a good drop....Hollywood & Been Around The World still get play from me....August second album was dope, very underrated IMO.
disagree about treyTrey isn't on an album cycle, but he had all the buzz and attention during his last album run
Chris brown is always Chris Brown.. He wil always be popping
Alsina had a chance to be on their level but he decided to get conscious
I agree he will never crossover but he should be the go to guy for hooks and running radio right now
I'm talking about relevancy...disagree about trey
completely disagree about CB, royalty has no legs and has no produced a strong single outside of back to sleep, he's also not running the hook game like he was in 2014. could be him spending time with his daughter or slowly fading to black...but to act like he's still on the level he was in 13/14...nah
Wildheart is basically KD w/o adore on it... That was the problemIt had nowhere the impact or success of KD
shyt was some hybrid prince/Rock![]()
Nah bruhWildheart is basically KD w/o adore on it... That was the problem
Nothing on wildheart surprised me in terms of sound /direction, quite formalaic just w/o the big singleNah bruh

Miguel second album and Alsina first album both had multiple hits and they both were in a position to get to that Chris Brown and Trey songz tier and potentially surpass them
But they both dropped complete duds last year, buzz wise, sales wise and hits wise...
And both lost a lot( damn near all) of their relevance
Who fukked up their chance more?
