I hate how money redefines and reframes relationships. Anyone who got relatives in Africa can tell you how relationships seem less genuine when people see you as a source of provision.

I really believe in the southern African concept of Ubuntu as a Zimbabwean but it’s hard cuz family exploits it. They don’t fukk with you or care for you until payday and they always ask for too much.
