Bill did color commentary for one Whitesox game and it was pure uncut fukkery for 3 hours. We all hoped he would do color commentary for one game a year for the Sox. I watched a lot of random West Coast games just because he was doing commentary.

I also remember Bill being on the Lebtard Show and every time he answer a question he would take 5 minutes and they just let him go and Bill would just go on the most random tangents

He had a multi part 30 for 30 that really did a deep dive on his career from college all the way to commentary. He made a lot of money but was still heartbroken about how his career had turned out. He LOVED playing basketball and his body really betrayed him so he didn't wind up actually playing too many games in the NBA.

can't believe he passed away. One of those people who I thought would be calling games forever. Enjoyed him calling NBA games in the 90s and early 2000s. Even still liked him calling Pac 12 games the last few years. I liked his random rambling during games made him unique.
