the EXCELLENT documentary on Netflix - "The Black Godfather" - actually gets into Withers' career in the music industry. He had a very interesting life, from being in the military, to doing music, to leaving music, etc.

Black music has produced some absolutely incredible individuals.
And that's great about Bill is bro started LATE, didn't really pop until his 30's with the song writing.

That's a testament to his immense talent & ability.

Everyday we see debates about some 20-something who died early or popped for a while
then fell off and there's talk about them potentially being "Legendary".
Nah.
This is what a real legend is, timeless music that's still relevant in 2020 despite a viral pandemic wrecking shop.
