rough news for those refusing to adapt.

LMAO @ buying physical media on a regular basis in 2013

The quality difference between streaming and blu-ray is pretty significant....and I enjoy the extra content as well. Which is why I love what Criterion does, in particular.

We're still a long way from streaming content being able to compare to blu-ray, let alone take advantage of 4K or UltraHD displays.

There may be a point where physical media dies, but it's a LONG way into the future.

remember when i was like 10/11 and having nothing to do on a friday/saturday night, my parents taking me and getting that game i wanted :to: then some pizza or mcdonalds :to:

good bye youth :to:

Man, we really are getting old and these are just highlights of our childhood.

I remember doing this on Friday/Saturday nights too in that EXACT order. My parents picking out a movie of their own, my sisters picking out their movies and me and my brother picking out our movie or game, sometimes both. And then hitting up the local pizza joint or McDonald's on the way home. I still remember these days like it was yesterday. Good times.

:what:

I'm not saying Blockbuster should remain open or anything. I realize that the majority of consumers don't mind the difference in quality. I do, so I'm gonna keep buying physical media. :manny:

Blockbuster held a young man down in the 90's. Hit BB every weekend to cop games, pops even rented a PS1 when it dropped
